i dont have my parts manual infront of me, but i have an overseas copy PDF. It only shows one of the bolts and its called out as a 5/16-18 x 4 3/4 long. This is the shifter bolt for the 2001+ X1. If you have the part numbers i can look them up in the HD hardware list. |

I guest it was the second bolt ,but if you take Marc,s info and the first link i posted ,then you can come a long way for bolt sizes! |

OK, it's a bolt called: 897 Screw (2) That's not in any of the three M2 Parts Books I have, but it is in the X1 book Hardware Listing, as: Screw, 5/16-18x3, hex socket hd. w/cam grip, zinc. I don't know what the cam grip part means, I used longer bolts to hold on the Banke shifter. |

Dont be worried both share the same size, I used a metal bar with the right thread and once deep in a put a washer and a bolt and tightened to the correct spect, i think the original crew is about 2,5 inches long. |

I am figuring some things out and just need some measurements like I asked Brother above. The shoulder is important |

In the manual it says: 5/16 x 3-1/2 in. Bolt with washers. It's from an S3 manual but I suspect is the same on the other tubers. |

So both bolts are the same length. This is what i measured , 74.65 millimeters from under the bolt head And 36.00 millimeters is threaded. 18.5/16 is the thread size. |
