I've got an 06 XB12X. Love it. The only issue that I have is that after about 20 minutes the outsides of my wrists really start to hurt. I have a set of renthal bars on it. Everything else is stock. I'm about 6'2". Would another set of bars make it more comfortable? If so, should I try to move them back or forward? Thanks! |

Stock bars would be quite more comfortable. |

Do you have risers with the Renthal bars? |

6'4", stock X bars, 1" risers, 1,000 miles a day no problem. |

I'm 6'3" and find the stock bars just right. The only add-on I put is the 2006 tall seat. For long highway trips, I find removing the stock windshield to be better. Windblast + a slight lean forward = hardly any pressure on the bars. |

I'm 6' use stock bars with 2" ROX risers. More upright body position with less fatigue. |

Thanks for the ideas fellas. I went ahead and ordered some risers, and will give that a try. I think I have the stock bars lying around somewhere! Thanks again! |

The risers will relieve pressure on your wrists for sure. In the mean time I have a suggestion.....take the windshield off and go faster! The air will hold you up off your hands. |

Or you could attach a small drag chute to your jacket.... |

Another 6'2" guy that is a fan of the Rox risers. I also don't like the bigger windshields. The tall screen on the XT worked pretty well. The tall screen on the X was a train wreck that just put the buffetting in the worst possible place. But I prefer smooth airflow loading up my chest and helmet. |
