Red - I'm green(just noticed the pun) to the tubers but recently acquired a '91 RS1200. Haven't even ridden it yet as the gas tank is devoid of its liner thanks to alcohol-gas. Would this brace work on one of those? If so. put me down for one. I plan on building a monster extra(race) motor and run the RS in the Texas Mile sprints and maybe Bonneville. Red, Sorry to be a pain, but may need to change to the old style if not too late. I am planning to replace the mount while I have it apart (mine is torn). I cannot find a source for the C revision mount anywhere, tons of B and aftermarket resemble the B, but no C. Is there source I am missing or should I just go with the B type? | ||

I think you folks getting the old style are doing yourself a disservice. You will eventually have to replace the isolator with the new kind. May as well get it over with. You've got to take the nut off the isolator to install the bar anyway. At that point, you've already supported the engine, and are only two bolts from replacing the thing. | ||

I just sent Lance (651lance) a PM to see if he could help with the front isolators. But yes I agree with you Hootowl. The Isolator kit isn't that much either. | ||
