Put LED's all the way around the S3+T I bought these off Amazon for the tail/brake light and the are BRIGHT!! You can even tell the difference in the brightness when the brake is pressed or pulled.

Thanks, Newman. It's the stock seat, just modified. trimmed the foam down (narrowed it to the frame width and trimmed the bottom flat) and reattached it to a trimmed down skateboard, then used the stock cover and recovered it. If I'm being honest; I ruined it. Its comfortable as far as support goes, but the new pitch of the seat pushes your gentlemen bits into the tank pretty aggressively, you really have to fight it to sit back on the seat a bit. I'll have to revisit the seat down the road...I might go to more of a flat generic Brat style seat or similar. (Message edited by jmanscotch on April 27, 2016) |

Hey Dennis, Not really looking to ship nor sell any of the big pieces, more just looking to give them away to a good home, locally. I know they're worth something to someone so I don't just want to toss them. **removed rest of post; I'll just make a FS post once weathers a little more consistance with the niceness.** (Message edited by jmanscotch on April 27, 2016) |

Jman, Actually, I like both versions, original and abominated. I'm interested in the S3 upper handlebar clamp (as well as S3 clock and handlebars if you have them) to area code 30047 (Atlanta, GA suburbs). Feel free to PM me to avoid cluttering the thread. |

Johnod, The swingarm was made by Metmachex, and from what I can find, it's one of the later versions. The cover was one of a few prototypes that we (Frontier Services at the time) decided not to sell because of fitment issues due to variability in frame and body-work. Also, there wasn't enough retail market interest back then to justify the cost of a more sophisticated (and variability-tolerant) mounting system. Thanks - R |

Rebuilt the crank today, resized the rods, installed oversize rollers, balanced the flywheels and assembled and trued the package |

Followed Ebutch's lead and polished my exhaust headers (or at least started). Got side tracked when I decided that I'd see what would happen if I tried wetsanding the "garage paint job" from the previous owner. To my surprise, the paint is looking excellent!! It took me a few hours of meticulous work just to get half the tank cover done. Can't wait to finish the rest of the bike. Yes...before and after pictures will be coming later. |

Replaced my brake lines with the Venhills I bought from S1owner and modified a set of '04 R6 pass pegs for the back to compliment the Crossroads rear sets.

Screamer , thanks for the answers, you by any chance have any more of those battery covers gathering dust, you might be willing to part with? |

I have done a couple of things in the past week or so. I "tied" the bags together with some old misc. pieces and parts I had laying around the garage. They are very secure! The reflector on the rear fender started to fall off so I replaced it with a reflective "Wolf Ridge Rider"

I tried to do that last Friday and failed miserably. I tried to pull away before it was warmed up enough to do so. It stalled and must have fouled the plugs. I almost got it restarted, but my battery must be a little on the weak side as well. Ended up with a dead battery *click* *click* *click*. Had to do the push of shame back up the driveway and into the garage. Ended up taking the BMW instead. Might try again tomorrow |

Just purchased a set Ventura racks & bag from a fellow BadWebber. I am on the hunt for the grab bar and top box rack to go with it.

Rode the S2 to work today. Yesterday, 1125. Had just as much fun on the S2 as I did on the CR! Need to check head bearings, steering is waaaay loose. And need to put my narrow bag lids on. Other than that...happy bike |

Discovered no matter how careful you are removing the cam/gear cover, so the cams don't fall out. The cover won't just go back on. |

So I decided to put some carbon fiber on the S1 the other night and it pains me to say that I'm not that thrilled about the look. Took the flyscreen off last night and it's at least a little better but think I'm going back to stock. Sucks cause I really love me some carbon fiber Thoughts?

Going to have to say I like the stock look. The color of the carbon does blend in but I like the stock. |

Try putting a silver vinyl race stripe on the carbon bits to blend the two. It might look good that way. ...Photoshop anyone? |

Didn't like the carbon flyscreen, fender looks fine. Not sure it's better than stock tho. Just MO. |
