I have my 2009 Blue Ulysses for sale. It comes with the City-x handlebars Aprillia mirrors HVMP weighted bar ends Tall seat EBR Race ECM Drummer exhaust Brand new (last weekend) and installed 2010 wheel with new bolts on pulley and rotor. (2) Hepco Becker 40 liter panniers Hepco Becker 40 liter top case Rack for panniers and top case Painted flyscreen Black passenger extender foot pegs newish belt (less than 1500 miles) K&N filter 2010 Buell Ulysses right side scoop 23593 miles Along with that I have the following items that are included along with the bike. Not to be sold separately. Original handlebars Original directionals for the rear of the bike. Original air filter Original horn Original handlebar plugs Original mirrors (one has a slight scratch on lens barely noticeable) 2009 wheel with axle and newish bearings along with the Shinko Raven tire (hardly any tread left) 2009 Buell Ulysses Service Manual Buell tail bag Buell messenger bag History: Rear jug needs new gasket. It looses some oil. It runs fine. I just keep oil in top case in case it gets low. Never had the time to get it replaced. I have had to reroute the vent tube due to it burning from the header. The 2009 wheel had the bearings replaced due to failure. I had them replaced and it works fine. New rear wheel needs a new tire. The brand new Conti Trail attack that we just put on had problems with tight fit and my mechanic/friend chewed the tire up and it will only hold air for a day. I have put about 50 miles on the new wheel since we installed it. It needs a new tire immediately. $200.00 of mine wasted plus giving him $100.00 for labor. The wheel is perfect. I helped him try and get the tire on. I would not trust the tire. Just being honest. So, the bike runs great overall. The two things that would need to be done would be replace the rear tire, and eventually if you would like, replace the gasket. If you were to sell the old wheel that would pay for a new tire and install. I just can't see spending another $300.00 to replace the damaged brand new tire. And then sell it. $4800.00 for all that is listed. |

I sold my first Buell on Badweb and I will sell this here also. I always give the good and the bad with anything I sell. My ebay status tankhead10 reflects that. I am trying to sell things in the house and pay off the mortgage to be free and so my wife and I can start preparing for retirement early. So, I m pretty firm now on the price. It is what is. Hopefully someone will want her.... She is a great bike and of course I will be sad to let her go. |

I also just found the bolts for the rear wheel rotor and the pulley wheel. They looked fine but I changed the 2010 with all new hardware. They looked fine and came out of the wheel trouble free. Just throwing that out there. Oh yeah I also have a spare brand new in box head light bulb just in case one would go on me on the road.. |

I will also throw in my cortech mini tank bag with the BRAG pin on it. The straps were sewn to fit the air box just like the Buell tank bag. So there's that. |

Also I included the footage extenders from our own BadWebber Rwven. They are extremely high quality pieces. My wife loved them and she was thankful to have them on the bike. |

A great looking bike and a very good deal, Tank. I hope you find a buyer like Bill (Reepicheep). He flew in from Ohio to buy mine and rode it home. Just a great guy. Uly's are great bikes and your 2009, for $4,500., is $15,000. worth of an 'own the corners' great bike for a very small price. Hang in there and best of luck. |

Well Capt Pete was here at 8:00am. I was in the garden picking tomatoes so I missed the call. When I figured it out that he was here, I invited him to the back. I had thawed out the left over burgers from our big party this Saturday over night, but being that it was about 10:00 when he got her all tied to his Ford truck I gave him two cold bottles of water and let him get going'. He got a great deal. I gave him everything that I had about Buell. Tail Bags, messenger bags, etc... Very glad to meet the fine gentleman. Couldn't imagine selling my Ulysses without meeting the person who was buying her. Court, again I want to thank you. Not sure if you remember, but I told you once when I met you at Liberty HD and Buell (I led the guys from Queensryche to AC from there) that it was your post about the city-x that made me buy my first buell in 2006. I researched the crap out of other bikes. The Buell won out. I have only owned two motorcycles in my life and they both were BUELLS. City-x and the Ulysses. Shed a tear after Pete left with her. Embarrassingly enough. I don't know when motorcycling and me will be again. Me and the Mrs. tankhead are trying to downsize. We have no debt other than our mortgage and we want to pay that off in 5 years. That puts me at 53 years old. I want to thank Blake so much for the site. We have had our differences about religion and like but I respect and appreciate all that he has done for the Buell brand. Thanks. All the best to all of you. I will miss the Buell brand motorcycles terribly.. It was the best ride of my life. If you research this site I wrote a poem about my travels out west in '08. I miss you sweet freedom...... I found the poem: I miss a lot in one year's past The packing up for the day The fuel that was too high but too bad The setting of the bungee cords to strap it all in. The filling of the auxiliary gas tank. The fitting of the gear and the heat of the helmet The new The reflection of old Focusing on the road with the tears that rolled big back across my temples in my face shield The incredible mind blowing scenery that haunts me today: still. The vast crack in the earth known as the Grand Canyon The mammoth rock formations of Zion and Bryce. The smells of the red rock and fragrant fresh air. I was free for that time. A slave to nothing but the sun Once more I want to be free. I was part of the picture I was freedom I was brave I was living I was moving Bye, for now, my dear freedom |

Tank: First . . . you'll need these two posts to tie this together. This is the one from the increditasic event where you saved the day by leading the Queensryche guys to Atlantic City. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/17/ 229919.html This is . . . I think . . . the post you were referring to when I accidentally got the XB9X via FedEx one day. Kept that baby for the better part of a year . . . still not quite sure where it came from. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/17/ 88925.html By the way . . . . you're a smart guy putting debt in it's place and I'm going out on a line here and saying your timing will prove to be perfect. You have great comfort in knowing that your Ulysses has fallen into the hands of one of the best of the best. When it comes to unbridled passion for life and motorcycles . . . the Captain is . . . well . . . still THE CAPTAIN. By the way, he is a REAL Captain . . . but lore seems to follow him from the sea to land. And last but not least . . . . parting with the bike is a lame excuse to leave. You're valued by the old and new here. I'd prefer you hang about and share your experience and wisdom. This bike transaction is . . yet another . . . total Win-Win. Very cool. I've had as much fun just watching this go down as the two of you did. All the best to you and Pete . . . Court |

We are transitioning from selling old Buells to "re-stewarding" them. 53 and no debt sounds like the PERFECT time to re-enter the two wheeled world with a nice used $3000 KLR-650. Not a Buell, but great in it's own way. |
