About a 6 weeks ago the voltage regulator on my S3 crapped out on me. About 10 days ago I replaced it and suddenly my speedo stopped working. Well initially I figured my speedo sensor went because of a low voltage situation or something like that. After riding it a bit I noticed that my although my speedo doesn't work my odometer does so that cancels the speedo sensor and now that just leaves the speedo itself. So I thought......... This morning I take it to work and noticed that once I power up the bike the needle does move but it moves to the pin that it's supposed to be resting on! So basically my needle is under the pin it should be resting on. So I'm guessing that when my bike was dieing the speedo went all the way around? I don't know for sure but that was my only conclusion. Anyone ever heard of this happening? If so how do I fix it? Really pisses me off cause on my way home today I got an achievement award from the state popo for speeding. |

Maybe it skipped over the pin somehow? |

You'll just have to go much faster in order to break that pin. That is so bizarre. |
