Nick: I will be working 6 days for the next 2 weeks. Will post if I can get a free day to ride. John and Jeb: You are both invited to ride when ever you see a date posted. I normaly have the weekends off but we are now short handed so 6 days a week for now. Just post and you will get a response. I will respond with in a day or two. Hope to meet up with you both soon. The McDs on Flamingo and Easter is where myself and a Buddy Go on Fidays or Saturdays before we go for a ride. We go there for 2 reasons. 1 is no chance of being messed with for hanging out for hours at a time. 2 my dad is the manager there on Grave. Cool. Hopefully my schedule will be changing soon. Right now I get the middle of the week off. Wouldn't it be sweet to walk out in front of LVHD and see nothing but Buells lined up out front? They'd have to seriously consider a BRAG club and more support to Buell riders then, wouldn't they? | ||

I am all for that. I was there this past Saturday standing in line for concert tix at LVHD and talked to a bunch of the sales people letting them know that I will be ready to purchase another Buell soon. Maybe I could use establishing a BRAG group as leverage. Anything is possible I guess. | ||

John, That might be a good ploy to use. I am waiting on some more info from Brag. Right now I am working 6 days a week so it will have to be a couple of weeks before we can all meet up at the dealership. I hope when we do it will be enough to wake them up and sponser us. When I get more info from Brag I will post what is needed. I also think it might be good to all meet up and then go that way we all know each other. | ||

Maybe we should just meet up at the McD's at Flamingo and Eastern when the time comes? That would be a pretty cool sight for the patrons. Would it be better to get to LVHD just before opening? | ||

Update on Brag. Sent an email to Peggy at Brag and waiting for reply. As for going to LVHD, before we go there I will call Jeff and see what time he will be there. Got some other things in the work but we can talk about that right before we go there. I will keep all posted. | ||

There is a board called meetup.com There were some Buell riders there posting an event at When: Saturday, October 9, 2004 at 11:00 AM Where: Gloria Jean's Gourmet Coffees 3200 Las Vegas Blvd S Las Vegas, NV 89109 702-732-2326 Soo.. I am gonna swing by there and see what's happening. Maybe do some recruiting for the cause.  Second: Have you thought of also trying to get the dealer to host a BattleTrax event? That would bring out the Buellers, but could also be used to forge something between all the riders, and from a business standpoint, generate some income for the dealer as well as sales. Vegas: Been working hours like you. Any way thanks for the link I will post there and RSVP also when I get some time. I am off Monday so I was thinking of going for a ride to MCDs on Sunday night. Same time as last time(10:30pm) will not know for sure till tomarrow. I still have not heard back from Peggy. But the Henderson dealership may be the way to go. I'm out of commission for a few days. I split my head open at work early this morning. 7 stitches on an approximately 3 inch gash in the top of my head. I can't wear the helmet so I can't ride. :P | ||

I called John and left a message on his phone about tonight. Hopefully he can make it. Spaz(Owen) said he might come. He has to work on Monday. This is for all: I was thinking about meeting up at least once a month say the 2nd Sat of the month. I am open for suggestions. I was thinking about the McD's on Flamingo and Eastern since I know we can hang out there and not be bothered. We can change location if some one has a better one. Oh yea what time of day or night. Hey Jake, Sorry about not calling you back. I didn't get your message until this morning. I was in the garage working on a new bracket for my bike. I was trying to do away with the black bulky license plate holder. I think I got a little something going here. All I have left is to run the wires through. I'll put up pics when I am done. As I said in the "Buell Meetup" site, I have a double header softball game on Saturday. Not sure if it's from 6-8 or 8-10. Will let you guys know later on. But I will be stopping by on my way there. GREAT NEWS!!!  I had to go to the dealer today to pick up my spare keys (Which didn't come in), and while I was there I spoke with one of the sales guys about a local BRAG chapter. He called up their Director of Marketing, Dawn Schmidt, and guess what?!?!?! She is calling Peggy at Brag, and wants to get the ball rolling! She started in saying that they are going to see what they need to do from their end, and get us the package that we need. She has already suggested that we use all of the dealerships for meeting on occasion. Jake, I told her about you and Owen, John, and Jason. I told I thought we could pull in ten members to start with. Do you think that is possible? I don't want to get my hopes up too high or too soon, but it sounded very promising when I left. Dawn was a real sweetheart, and I think she loved my Southern Accent  I'll ping ya so we can talk more about it. I am working graves for the next three nights.. so I'll try to keep in touch as much as possible. Nick | ||

opps my typing was off. If anybody has a issue with 2nd Sat it can be changed. 10:30pm to 11:00pm seems to be the best time offered so far. If you have a better time or comment let me know. I am alway open for suggestions. To all, any time you all want to ride just post the time and date and where to meet. I work days mon-fri. I also work sat or sun on occasion.
