Doesn't look like Michael is going to make it tomorrow, he had a rough day today. His blood thickened up and his leg/blood clot was causing him extreme pain. I thought we were going to have to go back to the hospital. Thank goodness we didn't. He's pretty tough so when he can't sit still cuz of the pain you know something's wrong. They up'd his dose of blood thinner and things seem to be better for him now but he doesn't think he'll be up for going to the Tex.

Talked to Pete briefly. It was nice to hear his voice, we didn't talk long but he wanted me to thank you guys for thinking about him.

Pete wanted me to thank everybody for all of the well wishes and support that you have been sending. I also wanted to say thank you and I will stop by the Vortex next Thursday with Vinnie on the auction night. I was hoping that maybe someone could tell me exactly where Pete's accident occurred. I am trying to track down the accident report for our accident insurance and we have no idea what jurisdiction to call. If anyone knows you can e-mail Pete and I or just post the info because I have been keeping up with the website. Thanks-Amy and Vinnie Anziano

Good to hear from Pete's camp (Amy and Vinnie). It will be nice to finally meet you at the Vortex on the 14th. Tell him that we miss him and get well soon. It's just not the same without him. I would like to come visit whenever you guys are ready.

Odie...I an either pouring the stock mold with plaster or wrapping the stock piece with plaster bandage to capture the shape of the mold.

The final Carbon Bling (except for the rear tire hugger when I change my tire)!!! This was a hard one. I have a slight gap against the frame because my contour was not quite the same. That bugs me but other than that it came out great.

Amy...someone posted on another thread that it was Shady Valley which is in Tn. That is either Johnson or Sullivan County in Tn. Hope this helps.

Glitch...Yes, Latus exhaust for Christmas. I'm like a little kid again and this will be the longest 3months EVER!

The guys from Latus told me that the Exhaust is 5lbs lighter than stock. I figure that with all the carbon fiber and pipe I will have probably shaved off a good 10lbs. Those plastic bits are heavy.

I will do the rear tire hugger when I get new tires. I might need your help with that project. Don't you do your own tires and have Cycle Gear balance? I am due for some new rubber pretty soon, I think.

That is the big question.
Cameron is out of the country and when I talked to Lori Becker she indicated that it was all on the Vortex since it was their shin dig.
Chris in parts is the one who brought it up to the Vortex.
So the question is who is in charge ummm... I don't think anyone really is to be honest. I think the Tex is going to take what SMHD donates for the auction and I don't think there is anyone else actively seeking donations.

The guy who was going to be the tank bag vendor at our event is going to donate some tanks bags and I am going to contact

and see if they want to donate what they were going to give us for the event or anything else.
As I posted previously I was going to check with Chateau Elan and maybe Spa Sydell. Anyone have any other ideas?

The tire hugger, does it have torque or phillips head screws. I've got a mini driver and bits for getting in to tight spots like that. I'll bring it tonight if you want.

Hey Stealth and Glitch- Vicki just called me and asked if we're going to have a meeting this month and if so when.
She thought it was changed from the 2nd week of the month to the 1st Thursday, which would be today and to tell you the truth I am so confused I couldn't tell you when anything is.

Can one of you shed some light on this. I told her we were going to the Tex tonight and that we'll be there next week for the auction.
On that note-
TWO is going to donate a nights stay and Breakfast and a couple of the guys from the dealership are donating their 'services'. I guess you can bid on them and make them a slave for the day to do housework/ wash bikes or whatever.
Any BRAG volunteers???
