I, on the other hand have higher expectations. I don't like pushing my bike into the ditch and walking home. |

I tried trading it in before I decided to keep her and spend more money..but I learn real quick when you buy a Buell do not expect to make what you put into it. I decided to keep her so Little by little been replacing aging cosmetics that I found new on fleabay. Currently looking for new correct mirrors and been eyeing the switches that Lance has on ebay |

Bought a 2001 M2 Cyclone with 46k miles for $1,800 last month. I cleaned it up, repainted it from lime green (yeck) to gloss black, replaced the speed sensor, changed the oil, adjusted the chain & belt, and am just riding it. The front tire needs to be changed soon and I will be lowering with M2L bits due to my stubby-leg-syndrome. That will probably cost another $700. Although it has high miles and I need to lower it, I consider it a bargain for a bike with better combination of torque, handling, comfort, and adjustability than other, more expensive bikes. I was looking at Sportsters but the Buell won hands down for me. I'm loving the look, sound and just plain "Buelladgeness" of it all. |

well most of us will be gone when our Buells get to Brough Superior age. Any guess on what these of the last batch of Brough Superior's to see the light of day will go for at auction. http://www.cycleworld.com/2015/12/17/last-cache-of -unrestored-brough-superior-motorcycles-found-and- to-be-auctioned/ |

Someone mentioned their S2 made them think of a modern Vincent and I have to agree. Modern Vincent or Brough Superior. Love the purposeful mechanicality of these bikes. Don't really care what they're going to be worth, no plans to sell them. They make me smile too much. I've put more traveling miles over the years on old BMW's but no bike has given me more of the raw riding pleasure the Buells deliver. |

A gold plated Buell would never reach the value of Vincent. https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/23131/lot/135/ |
