Anyone remove the rotor with out the locking tool?, if so any advice? I'm trying to do the oil jet modification. Any info would help! |

Yes it can be done but it will put a lot of stress on the transmission. Simply putting it in 6th gear with the tire on the ground and hitting it with an impact will work. |

Nick, do you understand the subtleties of the modification? (Not judging or accusing, just making sure you know it's more than busting out the hand drill... the diameter of that hole is important for maintaining proper oil pressure) |

Yes I understand the modification parameters, I'm doing it through twin motorcycle, I'm just trying to speed up the process a little bit by taking the rotor off with out the waiting for the locking tool |
