Zac, that's a Metamachex arm. I think they will still make them for the right price, but they are custom order. Al used to sell them, may still. |

Yep, Metmachex. although this one is different then any of this style ive seen. the brace is shaped differently then the others. where mine is rounded near the sprocket, the rest come down and to a rearward extended point that almost resembles a belt guard. ive got an old battletwin magazine that sure appears to have my exact swingarm in it. in the article they were showing pictures of the prototype. its got fair amount of seemingly super rare and one off parts on it. |

Love the air cleaner on that bike! Where do I get one? Hate the way the Force Winder looks on my S3... |

Have a Forcewinder too, don't like it either. I would love one like that on my S3. |

I like the looks of the Force Winder on my Sportster, but I feel it takes away from the lines of the Buell's. Just doesn't fit in aesthetically. |

its a bartels carbonfiber air cleaner. you basically cant find them, funny thing is that someone just sold one in the classifieds yesterday. if i would have seen it soon enough i would have snagged it. |

I can't understand why people use those force or the SE air cleaner they look too restrictive to me. |

"I can't understand why people use those force or the SE air cleaner they look too restrictive to me." The guy that built the stroker motor in my Sportster thought the same thing, but it helped get the best numbers on the dyno. He tried a modified stock setup (Thicker element, ham can opened up), one of the KURYAKYN Hypercharger's (which was one of the worst performing, maybe because of the closed environment), an open element round style cleaner and the dual element Arlen Ness model (someone else had ordered it and hated the look). I am always open to something else as I rebuild that bike. I would like something different on the S3 and will see if I can find another one of the Bartels model. |

I like the looks of this one (BS1AB Buell S3 Thunderbolt Air box). I would like to hear from someone who has used one. http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/buell/S31997-0 2.htm#price |

With the right paint job, that airtech would look nice. |

Hi.This is my first post so go easy on me. I have a S1WL and an XB12S. I have one of those swingarms on my S1 and I live in the county where they are made here in the uk. metmachex also do a very nice ally oil tank as well. My S1 is quite non standard though done so it's still unmistakably a white lightning.....Dave |

Here's a link to a few pics of it. I know that to some it will be sacrilege that i have taken the cutting disc and welding torch to it. The welding torch was for the missing spar as on the x1 and m2 the cutting disc was to the passenger foot rests. No one ever goes on the back and i think it gives a cleaner look. Anyway this is it http://www.ukbeg.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=200 39&start=15 |

I put a Metmachex on my black S2 recently. It has no brace (or mounting for a brace). I think it may be a later version. |

They're Eyeball engineering headers. (They've been mentioned on here many moons ago, 2002 ish. Search Mickey burke or eyeball engineering). They're the only set i've seen in all the buell meets i've been to over the years. Thats why i don't really want to change them for the the pro race headers that Albert666 makes over here even though they are supposed to more efficient......Dave |

Hopefully, fixed the X1W's leaking front tire. It had Slime in it when I bought the bike (I found that out when I changed tires) and I put on the new Michelin without any Slime and all was good for nearly a year until today. I could not find anything puncturing it and Slime didn't do the trick. I replaced the valve core and so far, so good. I've also got the S2 apart to repair the damage a failed speedo drive did to the rim. It seems to be a day for front wheels with the Buells. |

Recently bought a 2000 Cyclone. I gave it new oil in both the engine and primary. New plugs too. |

Installed braided brake lines and new XB turn signals on the newly acquired S1. Also got the front and rear brakes working after not having fluid in them for a number of years.
