hey guys, much thanks for the boards as I looked to fix my buell from a low side I did that shredded the linkage and lower hole of the primary cover. Did not see this when searching any post on here so I thought I would post what I did. All stock parts but I cut the link and tapped the cut end. this allowed me to use the second hole in the primary cover without having to replace it. Shifts fine and is still my daily commuter. hopes this helps someone in the future when they think about options for a parts only cost at home fix.

I did think about doing that when I crashed mine way back when. A new primary cover wasn't that much, I bought a new one. Hope you didn't hurt yourself. |
