Happy Days Y'all! the current brake (since my 1125 loves challenging me) is a cylinder (front i believe) that seems to be getting no spark.

the only notable thing that happened before the bike started acting up, was a huge backfire about 4 miles and 15 minutes before the bike started sounding and acting like it was firing on one cylinder.

so far i dove into the intake manifold area, saw zero disconnects or loose fittings. after i ran the bike for a few seconds and looked down the open throttle bodies and into the area above the valves i noticed "vapor" in the front cylinder(as in gas/air mixture that was unused) this is what has me thinking the front cylinder was getting no spark. changed out the spark plugs, no help, so i thought maybe the coil?? switched coils back and front to see if the problem would follow the front coil to the rear cylinder, no help.

figured with my admitted ignorance i should give you guys my clues and see what we can do. i am now going top to bottom checking all fuses/connections.

thank you for any help and i'll check back after i look her over again.

buell life : ) just threw on a barker exhaust with matching ecm (i put my stock ecm on and it had the same one cylinder issue) gas pump was just painstakingly changed by me, water pump to be done next if i can get it running. have a great evening guys

to follow up:

I checked all connections and visible wiring, all checked out fine.

A good friend suggested to switch the injectors front and back to see if the problem would follow the injector, success! i think hahah, will replace injector and finish this thread... really thought an injector braking would have thrown a code???

The injector itself can't throw a code, but the O2 sensors would eventually throw a code due to the unburnt fuel making the sensor rich.
