Any opinions on this... Since EBR is closed and I'm upgrading exhaust and only have EBR ecm for stock exhaust. I going for a barkers exhaust and wanted to know my options at this point other than the waiting game on EBR outcome.. Thanks |

Northernyankee, did you hook up the Auto Tune to the front or rear cylinder. Also do you set the tune the same for both cylinders? . |

Redbat, I got the 2 Channel auto tune so that I could do each cylinder individually. |

Do you turn off the Auto Tune after you are satisfied with the tuned result, or do you leave it on all the time? |

I run the autotune all the time...it isn't tuning on the fly like you would think. You set Target AFR's in your cells and then it looks at what the real time AFR's are and compares it to your target AFR. With that info it gives you a recommendation to add or remove fuel based on those readings, you can then decide whether or not to apply those recommendations to your map. Whats really cool is that you can pull the speed sensor and the calibrate it for gearing so that you can tune for each gear. This is great because the AFR changes for a given RPM when you are at speed due to the ram-air effect. Eventually when I get the tune to where I want I will pull the auto tune out but for now I leave it in and running. |

I just sent my ecm out to twin motorcycles and await for reflash for the barkers exhaust. Not sure if the power commander or auto tuner can boost it for smoother ride. I'm pretty excited heard great thing about twin motorcycles |

Hey Northern, I agree about tuning at speed for the ram air effect. You just can't get as accurate of a tune on a stationary Dyno. What is your target AFR set for? |

Had a PC-V on top of an EBR ecm. Did multiple maps as we had several pipes left from exhaust shoot out. It really smoothed out the lower rpms. Let me know if you need a map. |

"I just sent my ecm out to twin motorcycles and await for reflash for the barkers exhaust." No disrespect, but I would have sent TM a stock ECM to reflash. I'd have paid good money for that EBR ECM. |

Is this the equivalent of buying an EBR ECM? They state they can flash my ECM over the internet. "For the newer models Buell we do that online when your bike is connected to the internet with us." If I had read that on any other site, I wouldn't believe it. Saves the hassle of being without wheels for a few weeks, too! (Not to mention the possibility of an anti-theft issue.) If this is for real, TM has another customer! https://www.twinmotorcycles.nl/webshop/artikel.asp ?guid=YXHFSC&aid=2443&cid=9640&s=&a=&aname=TM_ECM_ Reflash__all_models |

I appreciate the offers to help. What tools / cables do I need to flash my ECM? Where can I find more info on the procedure? Suppose I screw something up and brick my ECM? Are new ones still available from Harley? Anybody got a part number for a 2010 1125R? |

Why must we keep going on about this crap. Talk to Michael Cobb who owns www.xoptiinside.com and has been tuning buell's longer than anyone else. His tunes are better than a ebr race ecm and Twin Motorcycles are setup for the Netherlands climate. |

I am hoping the xoptiinside site has the Bluetooth modules available soon, data logging via cable is a pain, especially when the wife catches me using her notebook! |

So is there a contact for that site, phone number? Are his maps for the OEM ECU or are they for a power commander. Love to get the lower RPM's smoothed out. I have a drummer SS with the EBR ECM. |
