Anybody know how I might be able to unlock my seat lock, it appears the center post has turned now the key won't go in, since the slots don't line up. |

Use a paper clip to realign the slots, the seat and gas cap aren't really locks, any key will work. |

I was trying to use a pick and not having any luck. I guess I will keep playing with it. |

I've used my key at an angle to turn the lock with great success... |

The seat locks are legitimate locks unlike the fuel caps.I had to ssacrifice my old key by grinding the outer tab off of it and start using my new spare. On the plus side I can now unlock my seat and pull the key out. |

Dean, I had to do the same when my key fell out of the ignition... On my ride home from work. Cut the tab off the spare just so I could shut the bike off (the circuits, not the motor, which I shut off with the kill switch). |

You should not be able to pull the key right off the ignition switch when in the "on" mode. That switch is broke. |
