How sad. I'd say some of the rust could be caused by leaving the bike outside for 10 years, but the crud on the top of a few of those engine covers doesn't look like something you'd pick up just from leaving the bike outside too long. If it was local I'd buy it. Even if I never got it running I'd still put it back together paint all the bodywork to match, and park it right in the center of my living room. |

Well, that #3 pushrod clearly had at least one really bad day. Can you bend a pushrod like that and not destroy a cam bushing (or case)? The cam is probably trashed. |
