You need to ride it to Homecoming and trade it for my Yellow 2002 Jeep TJ wrangler X, 139k. Then drive the Jeep home. I have a clear title in hand. |

Or a khaki 06 liberty with 100k. You get choice. Both have BFGoodrich ATs. |

Thanks Ourdee, but no. I'm looking for more room in the garage (and some funds) as the '71 ironhead is going back together and I want to get the decrepit S3T out of my friends garage and into mine... it needs much love.
Every time I need to do real work, bikes all need to go into the yard... I need less bikes (or a much larger garage... I wish). |

I rarely ride around the neighborhood. The enormous number of idiots with cages and cellphones kind of kills the joy for me. I used to wrench and ride someone else's bikes everyday... work for me. Normal rides start at 630 am or earlier, meet friends and head for lunch. Landing Zone Grille in CT, Dinosaur or Man of Kent in Troy NY or Prohibition Pig in Waterbury VT for lunch... return home in the dark. It's a sport tourer, I use Mapsource/Basecamp to route the best/emptiest backroads and twisties we can find, email to the riding buddies in 4 states and we go for a ride. Eat good food, drink good beer and hang with good friends... the good life. The XT did a 14 day 6,500 mile trip last July. 28 states with four of those days spent seeing the sights in Yellowstone. I realize I need better range and weather protection... there's no equal to the bike, the closest compromise I can find is an R1200RT... so it's next in line for a spot in the garage.
