On the front caliper, the small bolt in the middle with the spacer, between the two pins. The FM reads torque to 28ft/lbs, that can't be right can it? The mounting bolts which are MUCH bigger don't torque to that much, |

That that would be 28 in/lbs. If you got anywhere past 10 ft/lbs., replace the caliper thread with a helicoil or timesert! I'll bet you were tired when this happened, right? Ask me how I know ![](http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/clipart/angry.gif) |

I suspected in was inch/pounds. The book clearly reads ft/lbs though. Page 2-22 I believe. So it's probably over tight but not ruined. |
