I have the yellow body work and recently purchased the black from a badweber...LOVE IT. But what do you guys recommend to wax or polish to remove the fine swirl marks? I never noticed them on the yellow body work, but yellow hides that kinda stuff. I like having both sets of plastic...its a different bike depending on my mood. I look forward to your suggestions. |

hey thats a neat idea, real good for messing with some ones head when they see your bike one day yellow, then the next day black then, yellow again |

I use the mother's swirl remover. cuts the swirls and small scratches out just fine. I have a few deep scratches but I haven't figured out how to cut those out yet. |

Do you guys use an orbital buffer or just by hand. I have Meguire's Swirl reducer but am afraid that it might REALLY screw it up. I like having the different colors...you can be sporty yellow or badass black depending on the mood. |

The Novus stuff just did an incredible job on my black tank work which also suffered a bit of sunfade. Done by hand its also very easy to just pull the tank and fender amd chin fairing off and sit with them infront of the TV while cleaning and polishing them. Less chance of getting the stuff on the bolts and other plastics. |

I have an orbital buffer that i have used. I wont ever use a power washer again as it tore through the plastic finish on my bike though. |

What is Novus? I have never heard of that stuff. Where do you get it? |

http://www.noscratch.com/novus/index.shtml Of late I have been seeing it at the HD shops next to the S100 and HD scratch and Swirl stuff, but I have also found it in the Motocross shops. |

Wycked, I already use the Novus on other stuff, but which stage did you use? I also heard Plexus is good. |

I hadn't used it, the nice techs at Hacienda detailed my bike when it was in for the intake leak and used it. Concidering the numerous scratches as well as the sunfade they probably ran the gambit of all 3 steps. I have only found it in the 3 piece kit, never individual bottles of each. |

I just bought individual bottles of the #2 and #1. The shop near me didn't stock #3. I haven't finished it just yet, but it looks pretty good so far. |
