Okay! After having my bike found by Dallas Police and having it back home cleaned and ready I now am moving forward to getting it to run. Have some questions and need ya'lls help!! Ignition switch has been cut and removed. Looked on American Sportbike for a replacement and did not see one? Any suggestions? Battery gone but that is not a problem...will replace! Oil tank was off the bike when I picked it up. Can someone Please post me pics or a map of oil lines from the oil tank to the motor! Need: Ignition switch Battery Oil Lines installed oil and gas ....and fire it up!!! Can't wait! I know the lifters will be noisy until oil is pumped through! Thanks for all your help!! |

It'll show for anyone who posted on the thread, but yeah, new thread or parts wanted post maybe. Glad you're getting her going! My oil lines run down the frame through an opening in the swingarm block (left side of bike) and under the trans, over to the pump. it's tight and pulling new lines through was a pain. Those lines tend to rub too, so a protective sleeve was around some of the lines I pulled. It's pretty straight-forward. |
