I'm thinking about installing an auxiliary tank on my Blast, since reaching 100 miles is running on the fumes, you have to starting searching for gas at about 70 miles- not even an hour into an expressway ride. Anyone ever install such a thing? There is a nice one gallon tank out there .... |

Well, there is that giant hole where the 2nd cylinder goes! You'll need a fuel pump. I've seen them on touring bikes, but never on a Blast. I don't see why not though. Numerous oil tanks out there should fit. There's also Primus fuel tanks you can use. Probably goes without saying, but I'll say it: do your best to rubber insulate it from frame and engine vibrations. Good luck. I'd be interested in seeing how you do. |
