Okay, I need to fix a screw up and need to get a rocker box gasket set. I'd really like to get the latest style but don't know which number is which. About four years ago, when I had to fix a leak at the rear cover, I used 17036-08. Now I'm looking in the 08 parts book and see the kit listed as 17036-91A. The real kicker is that both numbers are still available for about a $3 difference. Does anyone know the difference? |

Thanks for the link. Guess I don't have to worry about numbers. I would recommend getting a kit whenever possible, though. When I went to fix the first leak years back, I thought I could just order the individual parts that I needed. Wouldn't you know, even though the numbers came out of the same book, the outer rocker box cover gasket was orange and the inner one was a more rigid black. Needless to say, I canceled that order and got the kit. |
