I was thinking about making some up like the one in the picture, which is for a Honda. The engine guard protects the frame and engine, but leaves the bags vulnerable. My gut says it would transfer too much impact energy to the tail section and/or footpeg mount. Bags are cheaper and easier to replace than either of those. |
