I'm thinking about buying another Buell after a long time without one. I have been eyeballing several 98 S1W (my unicorn) and actually found one here, but the owner decided to hang on to it. So I switched gears and am now looking at a 2003 XB9S. Below is the CL ad for it: up for sale xb 9 lightning 2003 I had it for 8 years has only 4900 miles it sat in my dealership as a show bike perfectly maintained, handle bar kit , tail lift race kit , black wheels , black paint job , 2 in Lower seat (comes with stock seat) , jardine exhaust ( ECU is mapped for exhaust) , turn signal re route , license plate re route , new belt , fresh oils , 80% left on the tires , professionaly maintained by myself I've done all the work as a certified technician .. The bike is a head turner for sure don't wanna sell but it's gunna help me open my new shop here in the atlanta area , title in hand thanks for looking Seller is asking $4000. I requested more pictures, so I may be able to post them up in the next few days. Anything I should look out for or ask about for this particular bike. I've only had old tubers, so this new generation stuff never got much of my attention. |

$4k is a bit high for going prices, but otherwise sounds like a decent machine. The Jardine needs to go, too stupidly loud. |
