been riding my M2 mostly but yesterday decided to take the S2. Got about a mile out and heard loud clicking, turned for home and grabbed the M2. Next day take the primary off, all ok. Then I remembered the oil lines I replaced. Pulled the line to the oil filter dry. Then I noticed I had swapped the in and out oil lines. Drained the oil and reversed the lines. Put oil back in and crank until oil spits. Compression checked good. Then start and clicking continued. Let run a little more and finally the clicking stopped and the S2 was running like before. Pretty tough engine to run for 2 miles with no oil circulating. Need to pay more attention and check the manual more often, slow down on the brew. |
