UPDATE: I have purchased a bike and am no longer looking. I'm looking for a 1997 or 1998 Buell S1 Lightning. Not looking for a perfect bike. Needs to run, have a straight frame, and be mechanically sound (tranny, engine, suspension, exhaust, etc.). I can't stress enough those requirements. I'm not looking for a project but I'm looking for a WERA bike. It also needs to be in Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio or western Pennsylvania. If you have one or a lead on one, please let me know. Thanks, JP}}} (Message edited by 08herobolt on January 27, 2015) |

This was another badweber's bike (Snp304/Mike). He traded it for a 1125cr. That is all I know about it: http://orlando.craigslist.org/mcd/4819529376.html More pictures here: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/21/ 754807.html?1420211256 |

That'd be perfect but it's way to far away. I like to see my purchase before I give away cash. |

http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/mcy/4845299070.htm l Not mine. Mine would be for sale for the right price but I don't think anybody wants to pay what I'd be asking |

that's a great bike, i've considered it, but i truly wish the frame hadn't been recoated... my first choice is another triple white S1W to replace the one that was stolen from me, let me know what you're thinking Dennis |

http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/476 23/743662.html?1405098349 To be perfectly honest, I wouldn't settle for a dime less than $5000. And even at that price, I'm not sure I'd sell. I'm too emotionally attached. This bike was built "by me, for me". |

This is the current owners pic of the 96 S1. I'll post better pics when I take possession. $2700. I'm going to be selling parts if anyone needs S1 parts. It's going to be a WERA Vintage 7 bike, so there is a lot of stuff I don't need. *I talked to the guy in Milwaukee. He's awesome. We both agreed that the bike was waaaay to nice to become a WERA bike. Going WERA racing would be the equivalent to murder. (Message edited by 08herobolt on January 29, 2015) |
