Author Message   Advoutlander Posted on Tuesday, July 01, 2014 - 10:02 am:        I located a discontinued Touratech part 380 0005 at touratech austria. I read 2 postings on here from 2006 that when they fitted the guard it made the front oof the bike vibrate violently. Touratech said they may have not send the right mounting parts. Michael - can scan and e-mail the instructions that include the parts list if interested. What coating do tour guards have?   Pnw_uly Posted on Tuesday, August 05, 2014 - 12:52 am:        The Touratech parts, like most of the plastics on the Uly are sprayed with Line-X. Based on expected heat from the muffler, the "inside" of the muffler guard was left bare steel... No issue with heat affecting the Line-X.
