I know there were some issues with the instrument clusters in the past. I am hoping I just dint reconnect something. I did the rotor swap, new tires and brakes and did a good shakedown ride today. bike rode great. However I noticed the speedo and odometer didn't work. The tach, signal and warning lights all seemed to work fine. Just the speedo, odometer and gear indicactor didn't work. I also put in a new ECU for the barkers exhaust. Any thoughts on where to start. I will also be digging into the manual shortly to look for ideas. TIA Tom M |

Those are run off the VSS signal It's a 3 wire connector. VSS attaches to the back side of the engine, to the right of center line |

Found it and reconnected it. I may have had it unconnected when I did the rotor swap and put it back together. At least it was one easy problem to solve LOL |

For future reference: Speed Sensor (VSS) connection. It's got 3 connectors in a triangular configuration. Perspective is from the right-front of bike looking toward left-rear. Yes I removed the NOID later on. |
