We want to meet at SMHD/BUELL Tuesday the 14th everyone! Try to get conformation with names and numbers together for the date so we can stay in touch from the dealer. |

A4TR.....Riddle me this batgirl. I read where you wanted the lower shocks for your R. Well, I have the lower shocks. Not because I specifically wanted them but that was the only 9S I could find. Would the standard shocks of the 9R fit my 9S? So, that being said I will be willing to trade with you even steven, without any cost to you except for someone or place to do it. 'Cause I don't know how or am willing to attempt. Its just a thought and I am not sure you can even do it. My brain tends to wander off with out my knowledge. Who is going to the Tex tomorrow night and would like to meet at SMHD/BUELL? (Message edited by black_sunshine on September 08, 2004) |

Shred.....there is a complete set of bodywork for an '03 R (blue) for $144. There is only 55 mins left! If you are wanting to change your color that would be a cheep way to have farings to paint and still have old to swap out whenever you wanted. |

A4TR.....Riddle me this batgirlYes Grasshopper that would work. However one major snaffoo.... Someone already got first dibs for a straight across swap. I don't know his login he might just lurk so far. He just got a Buell and he's local, very local just of 78 so I'm sure we'll all meet him soon but he beat ya too it. I didn't realize any of you had S's or I would have thrown out the idea. I thought they were all X's |

I can't make Tuesday but plan on being there 10/9 figure me in where ever I am needed... I will bring my camera... I've done some judging before but don't have any sheets that would work for our needs... Dave Privett (Squeaky) had some for the March of Dimes judging that was done a couple years back at SMHD???? Any idea of classes or would it be by model (that could be a lot of classes ie R models, S2 & S2t, S1, M2, S3 & S3t, X1, XB Lightenings both 9 & 12, XB Thunderbolts 9 & 12 and of course Blasts) (maybe lump years and models)???? Or are we doing Sportbikes period???? Could always just do peoples choice with buckets... Every Bike that enters the show gets a bucket after paying an entry fee... The bucket is placed in front of each bike.. People put a buck in the bucket of the bike or bikes they want to vote on.. The bucket with the most bucks wins.. The buckets have covers with slots in them so nobody knows who is winning... 3% could keep or give the proceeds to the winner.... I Hope I can see some dynos but will do what ever needed..... I have an old Ford F100 longbed if needed for hauling anything only has a small ball hitch though... I have some small cones MSF style if needed.. |

A4TR - Yes, all I have done so far is lurk. Thank for holding my first dibs... I'm planning on going to the "Tex" tomorrow, but I might be leaving from work instead of home ,so most likely I won't come by SM HD/Buell. Looking forward to meeting more of the 3%er's |

Torqer...Just got off the phone with Jefferson FD. They have 2 dunking booths, on is 75$ and 100$ for the day. I think one is newer. All we have to do is let them know when and send a check. Someone will have to pick up on Friday. We can talk about it more tonight. |

Who has the ability to pick up the dunk tank? S2 mentioned a truck... but, it may be a bit of a drive for him to get it. @ $5 for three throws, it would take 15 participants to pay for the tank for the day if we get the $75 one. Last time we had one, we had only 10 participants... and it was warm. There is the potential for this October date to be cold or at least cool. We do need to revisit this idea tonight to make sure we like it. I'm questioning it. |

I was thinking about that. I could be too cold and we could loose some cash on the deal. It is on a trailer with a ball hitch for easy transportation. The XB9's performance may be compromised, though. |

No white t-shirts if it is a cold day..Also...i recall seeing that the dunk-tank was from the Jefferson City F-D....i live there so if anyone needs a hand around town or to give a hand loading and unloading let me know Torqer...lets trade tails...<-------wow..maybe that smiley face was too much......(long pause)....ummm you know what i mean about the tail ends of the bike. S2: I will bring my camera... Awesome.. I 've liked your pictures in the past. Could always just do peoples choice with buckets...I like the sound of that...nice and easy... no judging. 3%ers could keep or give the proceeds to the winner....Or split the proceeds. I Hope I can see some dynos but will do what ever needed...The Dyno is going to be run by a shop tech. But, I'm sure you'll have a chance to watch. I have some small cones MSF style if needed...We will need those for sure... How many do you have? (Message edited by torqer on September 09, 2004) |

Rebecca I need the sponsor list for the final poster, then I'll email it out to all that want it. Things are slow right now, so the sooner the better, as things here tend to fall apart rather quickly given the opportunity. |

Took the front of the building of Turners Corner for their logo. Still room for the Vortex and Joe Rocket. I have to run for now, check back in soon. This is kinda what it looks like. It looks much better printed out. The file size is just way too huge to post here.
