Agent, I know Corinth is a long way off from Houston but American Eagle Harley Davidson is a really Buell friendly Harley dealer. http://www.americaneaglehd.com/ Tell them Kenny G sent you. Kenny G |

I put a link to this thread in the Storm Fronts, Houston Buellers section so someone in Houston sees this. I only know carb tubers so I can't help. |

Mike, Goe Harley Davidson / Kawasaki in Angleton used to service Buells, though I don't know if they still do. They are an EBR dealer, so I would think they still have some interest in the old bikes. The free version of ecmSpy that most of us around here use won't work with your '09 ECM. I do have TunerPro RT, but I just haven't put in the effort to learn the application due to a combination of lack of need, a shortage of free time on my part and what seems to be a considerable learning curve from my short explorations with the program. I'd be willing to help, but just understand that you are not dealing with a pro here by any stretch of the imagination. |

Also, many people have had great luck buying the pre-flashed ECMs from EBR. You can specify a flash specific to a Jardine for the XB9. I don't know if that is an appealing option to you, but you may want to consider it. |

Hi Agent216, if you can't find a dealer that will want to adjust your ECM, there are a few simple things you can do yourself. DO you have a data link cable? If so, the cable and Tunerpro RT are all you need! I can give you a few tips. You mentioned the popping. Do you have popping/backfiring out of the intake when you take off from a stoplight or idle? FYI: Popping in the exhaust is not causing any performance issues, but for some reason it seems to bother a lot of riders. |

welcome to houston dude! my spy won't work with what you have. I have a 07 12 x and the new spy i'm trying to load up on a new laptop is ecm specific with licensing issues. Just the way it is with the paid for version. I haven't tried tunerpro yet at all. Buewulf and I have been looking at getting us together at some point and any thoughts you have would be welcome. Take care! |
