Hey all. I've got a 2006 Buell XB12Ss. I'm getting an error code 21 and blowing the 10A Horn/Brake/Exhaust Actuator fuse every time I turn the key from the Off to On position on the motorcycle. I disconnected the actuator harness and tried again and still blew the fuse. I'm wondering what the best way for me to track down the problem is. I'm assuming it's a short, but I think the fact that it happens when the key goes from the Off to the On position should help me get a better sense of where the short might be in the Brake/Horn/Actuator circuit. Does anyone have any ideas about this? Does the brake light flash when I turn on the bike, could that be the issue?

Many thanks in advance.

Adding some details:

I'm new to the electrical stuff, but I used an ohmmeter to check the resistance between the Orange wire post on connector 165A and the ground, and got 0 resistance with the bike off. I'm looking at the diagram and I thought that the orange wire was the lead, and should have infinite resistance to the ground, unless these are all negative switching. If anyone has any pointers for me, let me know.

Check your relays and see if they are working. I had the same problem with mine but it was the ignition switch relay and would blow the fuse every time i turned the key on. the short was in the relay..

Good luck!
