I now have a chin fairing for my M2, but none of the mounting hardware. The kit is no longer available, so I thought I would check here. |

You may want to check with Al and Joanne at American Sport Bike. |

Most of it could be fabbed from hardware store bits (maybe McMaster-Carr) but the measurements on the spacers, bolts, and the bracket would be handy. The right front bracket came in at least 3 versions, depending on long or short shock absorber. It's just a steel 'L' it could probably be constructed from hardware store steel or aluminum too. I'll take my X1 manual to work tomorrow and scan; unless anyone has a link to an x1 parts book...? |

Thanks for the offer Jayvee. I've already located a pdf for the parts manual on a German website.
Not much help. Measurements would be great, or at least some good pictures. If I had those I could work it out. But building this out of random hardware pieces would likely be more than I would pay IF I could the hardware used. Somebody somewhere has to be parting an X1. And American Sportbike shows the hardware kit on the site, but says that they no longer offer it because some of the parts are no longer available. |

Yeah, random hardware probably would not work. |
