Unfortunately, I drove off with my luggage key still in the lock for the top box. It's now somewhere between my house and work. It's a key 954. The local Buell dealer has not been able to help. Anyone know where I can order new keys just from the number? Or does anyone have a 954 key that I could pay you to reproduce and send to me?

I had an issue last year when I thought I had lost my only key for my suzuki drz, and I looked into what to do - I was told that a locksmith should be able to make a key if you bring him the cylinder for the lock... not sure if that's true or not but it might be worth calling a locksmith in your area.

Go to www.motomachines.com. The replacement key #954 cost $13.07

I fell in to 4 spare luggage keys a few years back and distinctly recalled them being 954...until I looked at them and found them marked 951.

You almost had two early Christmas presents. Sorry, I tried.

Thanks for all of the responses. Badwebbers are definitely the most generous people I know. I ordered a key from motomachines. Less than $17.00 with shipping. Not a bad price to pay for my own stupidity. Thanks Cyclonedon for the link.
