Can somebody help me with this? I am aware the speedo will be off. Is it easy to correct with tuner pro? Are there other factors too with the different ecms that wont enable me to use the cr ecm. If anybody has experience with this can they walk me through on how to? |

I asked almost the exact question to EBR and they informed me that only the speedo would be the issue. They also sent a recal form and offered up recalibration for $95 which included return shipping. I'm running a CR ECM in my R. Thus far, I have not ran into any issues. If I do send it out for recalibration, I'll do it in the off season. I couldn't answer the tuner pro question. |

I've changed a stock ECM from a CR into an R before, takes only a few minutes of tweaking in TunerPro. I forget the name of the value, but it just needs to be changed to make the speedometer right again. Also there is a table for the gear ratios that needs tweaking, if you don't tweak it the bike will display the wrong gear number on the dash if you have an 09+ cluster. |

I had an R ecm in my CR. The speedo was 6 mph faster then I was actually going. |
