So I'm almost positive my ignition switch went dead. So... what wires can I put into a rocker (or toggle) switch to "short" so I can start the bike to get it home? I can cut into it above the connector so I can replace the switch later but for now I'm stuck. Thank you. |

Open the connector up and lay a hunk of heavy gauge solder in there to short out all three wires. If the switch is shorted to ground use a piece of wood to hold the solder in the connector, if it is not just plug it back together. |
