Author Message   Bikerrides Posted on Thursday, May 15, 2014 - 10:47 pm:        So, I call my local HD service dept to have them run the VIN on the S2 I bought a couple weeks ago to see what recalls were ever done on the bike. They couldn't find the # in their system. I pulled the title and read them the # straight off it...it was the same as I had already given them. I even then checked the VIN plate on the bike to make sure it was right...it was. My S2 is #557 and was wondering if anyone else has had this experience where the dealer can't find the VIN.
