Rain season is hopefully over. X1 is ready to roll. Thought I would share.

Looks good. What kind of tail is that? Did you put anything over the oil tank? I want to remove my rear hugger but I'm worried about rocks damaging the tank. |

Thanks. The tail is off of a Ducati 848 The oil tank has been sprayed with leak seal rubberized paint. 3 coats. nothing is damaging that tank. Been running no rear hugger for 4 years. That was my very first mod cutting those tabs off |

I just got done reading about the builds on the two bikes. Nice. I was thinking about spraying bed liner on the oil tank. Just wound up painting the tail today. Unlike you I am trying to get rid of all the shiny stuff. Gonna get different rims and work on the engine this winter. |

Also still trying to find an affordable intake. It's not easy being cheap and working on my bike. Lol |

Your bike looks really good, are you planning to put a front windscreen on or do anything with the gauges? |

Thanks for the compliments. No windscreen. I enjoy the naked. I did work on another Buell X1 last week that had this gauge on it and it looked so clean and awesome. fits perfectly in front of the top handlebar clamp http://www.koso.com.tw/products-detail.php?id=889& lang=en looking at getting this gauge setup in the near future |
