working on a new 2 piece design front pulley cover for my bike. Its a matching design to my rear pulley and wheels. Planning on powdercoating the pulley shown the same color as my wheels, and then engraving lettering and a ring on the face (leaving it aluminum) and then clearing it. The second piece that goes behind this pulley cover is a nut lock will be powdercoated black. This will all be behind a pulley guard im also working on. Awesome workmanship, as always. You're an amazing fabricator, not just that part alone but your entire bike! |

Marc I think you should stop posting as I cant keep the drool cleaned up! I wish we lived closer to each other as your skills and axcess to technology makes me jealous. I like the look would like to see what cover you are putting over it hope it wont hide too much of the work? |

Can you build one like this? Might be fun to hypnotize other drivers checking you out.

Honestly, not really my cup of tea. Craftsmanship and creativity are definitely present, but IMHO looks too refined and softens the mechanical look too much for my taste. Just call me the "tenth man". Marc, I am one of your biggest fans, but this is a miss for me. Sorry. |

fine piece of craftsmanship but isn't it just adding weight to something that would be better off lighter? wouldn't it be better to take the pulley off and machine that ? |

the final plan is to remove the factory pulley and machine it to be lighter, or make an aluminum one... but for now Im sick of looking at the ugly steel one. Right now im just trying to finish a bunch of other things and get the bike back together to ride instead of taking it farther apart. |

I heard that! Hard to take one down when the sun is shining! If you are making your own pulleys (and kudos if you do!) opportunity is there for gear ratio changes! |

....Marc....never ceases to amaze me at what you do to your bike.Always have been envious of you at having access to"whittle" away at what you've done and continue to do so.Will be waiting for the finished product....LT |

Cool, I like it. I keep trying to get my brother-in-law to cut my stock pulley down, and maybe set up a side business doing that for other Buell owners, but cannot get him to put in the shop time on my projects. Wish I had your particular skill-set! |
