Anybody use Mother's power products (ball, cone, mini) on their PM wheels? Which one would you recommend? Can it get in the corners of the ridges? Was doing my spring polishing today and I'm starting to run low on elbow grease. |

I've always used Mother's aluminum polish on anything aluminum, including a few sets of PM wheels I've had over the years. I've never tried the powered products though. I should invest in those.. But now I have very few polished pieces. |

I have pm aluminum wheels on my x1 and I use mothers polish and they are beautiful. I'm with Phelan I should get a power ball or cone cause from what I have heard they make the job waaaay faster. |

I already use the Mother's polish, it works great. Just trying to save some time. S1owner, do I need both? Or could I get by with one or the other? |

I can confirm the powerball mini is AWESOME! It has a little trouble getting into some of the tighter corners but on the whole does a great job and saves a TON of time. |

I have the mini powerball and the cone. I just polished out my PM wheels and polished swingarm last weekend with the cone using Wenol metal polish. Works great and the cone w/a drill really makes it easy and relatively fast; better for getting into the tight spots than the ball. A guy that refurbishes ambulances put me onto Wenol years ago for polishing diamond plate aluminum and wheels. I haven't used Mother's or any other polish, so I don't know how they would compare. I do know that he Wenol works great! |
