I don't recall if this has been noted before, but during the valve lash check and adjustment on my bike I realized my 2009 factory manual is wrong regarding the Intake Follower Spacer installation on page 1-45. If you look at Figure 1-63 on that page, the one shown as "Incorrect" is actually Correct. I think I wasted an hour trying to get the valve cover back on because it would not sit down flush. Then finally, I realized the problem was the Intake Follower Spacer was in the way because it was installed wrong. |
