What is everyone running for plug gap? Mine was set at 0.45 when I got it, which seems a bit high. I turned it down to 0.38, and then yesterday turned it up to 0.41ish just testing the waters. Thoughts? I really don't have any idea what these should be set at with my setup, and likely should replace the plugs and wires anyway on payday. I have a Tstorm top end on my S2T, and possibly cams, not sure what it was built to. All the motor work was done before I got. Runs VERY strong compared to my last S2. Never gone above 5800 RPMs though either since I don't know what the valves are good to. |

.40 should do it. One of the nice things about Buells is that spark plugs are rarely a concern. |

0.4? Surely you mean 0.04"? Early manual says 0.038" - 0.045", later manuals 0.038". The bigger the gap, the more stress on the rest of the high tension system, i.e. coil, leads and caps. |

I look at the plug when I remove from box, if it hasn't been dropped and the electrode bent, then the gap is good. |

Yes, .04, sorry. Sounds like it's about right then. |
