Are we having a blood drive? Also, I have yet to see the news letter, anyone willing to send me one? CJ, you didn't miss much at the Packer game, The Packers sucked. |

Tom Dullorb....So what's the diagnosis on the bike, what are your plans for it and when do you think you will be riding again? |

Dull is out of touch for a little while. Him and I are going to try to rebuild the engine ourselves, Whats the worst that could happen? It will be a while. Probably into the next riding season. |

Sounds good to me. Was just wondering what the status was. Looks like you guys will have something to do this winter besides the usual carousing around. Good luck!!! |

Does anyone have a bike rack that i can borrow for about a week? Either a roof mount one (that I can mount on a hard tonneau cover) or a trunk style one for two bikes? Thanks |

I've got an older style one if you want it. Trunk style. The kind you can find at rummage sales. Nothing fancy. I can bring it to the W&S store in Fox Point tonight if you want. They have a late meeting and close at 8pm, I'll get there around then if you want it. I'll dig it out of the garage when I get home tonight. But if you've got expensive bikes you may want to see what others have first. |

Mine was totaled along with my Civic couple of months ago !! But the intersection where I had the wreck, frontage road by Uke's, has now been changed to a 4 way stop which would have prevented my accident, damn it !!! CJ (sorrynotmuchhelpiknow) |

Thanks Mike, but i won't be able to make it up there tonight. I may break down and by a Thule type roof system, since we will need something for the skis in the winter as well. |

No problem. I've got it if you need it. If you're more than a week away from needing one watch for sales, there's a few coming up. |

Kinger...I have a Yakima but it's in GB. It has two bike attachments. As for Thule or Yakima...they're about 6 of 1; half dozen of another. I like the build quality of Yakima but that's my personal preference. For your best price, look on ebay. If you're in a hurry, look at REI for best prices. |

Also keep an eye on the Nashbar Customer Returns pages. I've gotten a few things from there in the past. |

Lake, Does it attached to the door jambs directly or with straps? What I am trying to do may be impossible...buy one rack that will fit a Ram 1500 and a VW Jetta.... Looks like I will have to hit REI on lunch tomorrow. |

Check out: http://www.sarisproducts.com/ They convert to a lawn chair once you get to a campsite as well. |

Kinger...I have attachments to fit 3 different roof types. I have a "rail slidder" for a factory GM roof rack; a Q-Tower that can be configured for any auto w/o a rain gutter; a Lowrider for my Disco factory rack. I also have 2 Steelhead bike racks, 1 fork mount, 1 Big Powderhound ski rack and a Rocketbox cargo carrier. All said and done, about $1K worth of stuff that I use about 1/2 dozen times per year. At least I have it when I need it. |

Lake, that is the type of set-up I think we will be needing in the future. It looks like I will hold off until winter to get the roof rack and ski mounts for the car. Then when we will have a system to build off of for any vehicle that we own in the future. Nice C5 by the way. My buddy just sold his '98 that he had for a few years...fun to drive. |

If I go on Saturday it will have to be well before noon. If I go on Friday I won't be staying long. Let me know what time you plan to do the trailer drags, I'd like to see that. |

I'll probably zip down there this afternoon, either in the rusty pickup if the thunderstorms loom, or run home and get the white bike if it looks clear out. Got an idea for a bar mount on the S2 I want them to look at, just have to finish modeling it up first and print out a pic. |
