Trying to confirm what is the thread size at the end of the stock rear axle.
Anybody able to provide this information?
Thanks

OK great, that corroborates what I found out today. I went McGuire's HD at their new site in Pleasant Hill, they wanted $10 for the axle nut, and they'd have to order it.
Latus, and Newcastle, HDs show them on their respective websites for $3.14 (+$6 shipping!) oh well

Isn't there a standard price?

No, here it's called "MSRP" for Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price. The retailer can charge whatever they want. McGuire always seemed slightly higher than other dealers, but at least they're still in business. And they just moved to a new location that's about a mile from my work.

support your local dealer [stocking or ordering, at least they're making OEM parts conveniently available!]

My local dealer can't even spell "Buell". They do a good job selling ape hangers for baggers, though.

I didn't notice it this time, but their old location had a rack a couple feet wide with every Buell parts book in it. One of the salesmen rode a black M2 a few years ago.

But $10 for a nut? That's nuts
