First choice for price would be http://www.surdyke.com/ . You would need the part number. Next would be American Sportbike. |

American Sport Bike usually has them in stock and can often get one to your door before the dealer orders it from the MoCo |

Surdyke has great prices, but there shipping must be by horseback. I placed my order on the 24th, and they send me an email stating my order is scheduled to ship 4/7. Why does it take two weeks for them to process an order? |

American Sport Bike - they will have it to you within days, not weeks. It takes Surdyke two days to respond to parts availability requests, no less than 5 days to get the part (usually not in stock), then another week to pack and ship. I'm not hating on Surdyke, but their process is quite a bit longer than Al's - he usually jumps right on it. |

It is simply a case of you get what you pay for. You don't get the same discount from American Sport Bike that you do at Surdyke, but your money goes to the excellent customer service and quick shipping. You can always call and speak to Al about anything, he is very knowledgeable when it comes to our bikes. The guys at the Harley parts counter likely can't figure out the difference between a turn signal bulb and an oil filter, unless they are chromed. There is nothing wrong with ordering from Surdyke, but if you need something in a rush, you can't beat American Sport Bike. |

I have ordered quite a bit of parts from both companies, and prefer to give my money to someone for their great customer service when the part is in stock. It may cost a little bit more, but to me it is worth it. This is the same reason I choose to buy American when possible, instead of buying some chinese crap because its slightly cheaper. |
