Originally fuel injected classic model, (leather bags) I replaced the FI engine wiring harness with the Carburetor version and added a Mikuni 42mm HSR, Screamin Eagle (K&N) intake, 95 cu. in. big bore kit (done by the previous owner, comes with the original 88" cylinders and pistons, less than 1000 miles on them) 37G Andrews Gear Drive cam kit and Bassani Road Rage 2 into 1 Chrome exhaust system. Compression last checked at 56,000 miles was 160Psi front and rear at 7000 elevation. The bike has 59,000 miles now, runs great and should continue twice that many miles. NO leaks, clunks ticks or rattles, you can hear the gear drive, (sounds kinda cool IMO, but I'm sure this is why HD went with the "silent" chain) just a very strong 95" bike with the 5 speed trans. The bike has the Progressive Touring Link, rock solid thru the curves and a new rear tire. The leather bags and detachable Tour Pack.are in excellent condition, no sagging, the lids are flat and nothing is weathered, garaged always. Paint is in excellent condition, so is the chrome. I also added the Mustang Vintage Touring seat, It's very comfortable for the long haul. This bike is ready to go. I will consider trades plus cash, I'm especially interested in a trade for an early Buell 1200 S1, S3,S3T, or X1 plus cash. I have my 09 Ulysses for sport touring, want something simple and fun to commute and blast the canyons with! |
