Well about 10 months back i put a new M2 L shock on my 2000 M2, it's works ok. just on doing a service i noticed oil on remote ?, but not on shock body, what should i check for as oil might have came from another area, just wondered if the remote normally is prone to leak? thanks for any advice as i'm planing a 800 kilometre ride in two weeks . |

Check the oil pump fittings above it. That's where my S3 was leaking--had nothing to do with the shock. |

Also check the oil temp switch right above the res |

Thank you, Greg & s1 owner , i will do that. Just like to mention again, what a good thing the M2 L shock ( new ) the Stenzel Bar & the steering damper & new Bridgestone Battle Ax Tire's ( replaced Michelin Tire ) made to my bikes handling & feel. feels like a totally different bike to what i bought. thanks to whom ever posted about Stezel Bar on this forum, as that made a huge difference |
