Divorce forces the sale of my 1999 Buell X1 Lightning with only 8,275 miles. The bike has been blacked out for the street fighter look. It's had some work done to it, but needs a little work done to it as well. It's been converted to run a Mikuni carb and has a Screamin' Eagle ignition module...When tuned nicely it runs like a bat out of hell! It does need a good tune up though...it's hard to get started with how the carb is set and I'm not good with Mikuni carbs, but like I said, once you have it dialed in and warmed up it flies. It has a couple wiring fixes that are fine for now but should be properly repaired...the last owner took some short cuts...I bought a matching keyed set that needs to be installed, but the harness had the connector for the ignition switch clipped off, and toggle switches hooked up to bypass it. Also the connector for the headlight was clipped off. Honestly, I was going to just pick up a new wiring harness from ebay and be done with it. It needs new tires.
