The three of us were standing together with a few others in front of Hal's just before the run to the Factory. Regardless, if you haven't the two of you need to get together for some bench racing and war stories. Toss in the Mysterious MikeJ and it becomes a major event. Problem is the encounters are too few and far in between. But wasn't that an incredible race? You folks who live in the midwest and have never seen the Springfield Mile are missing one of the most amazing spectacles in the world of racing. I've seen races in many different places, and of many different types, but NOTHING even comes close to the Mile for excitement. (even Rob Muzzy said that mile racing was his favorite form of racing for spectating)
