wish you were closer, I'd try to unload my S1W since the seating position is aggravating a knee injury and I don't ride it much... |

I keep coming back to look...is it wrong? It would be such a shame to part. Where is the bike located? |

Gentlemen, I am both saddened and happy to say that a member has purchased my beloved S3T. I already have sellers remorse, but she had become garage art to me as I don't ride as often or far as I used to. Best wishes to the now third owner. |

Joe, In your profile under Life History/Philosophy, you have the following : If you wait to do something, the only thing that happens is you get older. I couldn't agree more. To wit, I had been looking at your recent posts regarding the sale of your beloved Thunderbolt. I was very seriously considering buying it so it would not be parted out(and because I just can't get enough of these tubers!). I kept asking myself why no one was stepping forward to save this thing! I was telling the missus about it last nite at dinner and she looks up and says, "You should just buy it, we can make room in the garage". What a woman! But... rather than doing it right then, I decide to sleep on it and go online in the morning...and save your baby! So...as you have said, If you wait to do something, the only thing that happens is you get older. Right you are, sir! I logged on only to see that my opportunity had passed... Nonetheless, I am quite glad she is staying whole, and I hope that the new owner will respect her and take as good care of her as you so obviously did. And of course, if for some reason the transaction does not complete...I will be more than happy to adopt! Take care, Dave |

This is good. 1. The bike is in one piece. 2. My wife would not have been as understanding as Buelljunkie's wife. |

Circlip, I thought since you kept going back to look that maybe you were the one who bought it! You know you only live about 20 minutes from me, maybe we'll meet up in the spring when it's riding season again. You're not planning on gettin rid of the Blast, are you? |
