To make the story short I went to a buell dealer because I'm having starter problems. My xb9r when it's hot it wouldn't start right away and sometimes it sounds like the engine is seizing and I don't know why this is happening. So there I was in the dealer, I told them the whole story and when the tech looked at it he said it was starting right up and I said no way, so they told me to come in and I did, so then the service manager took it for a 20 minute ride enough to make the engine hot. When I started the engine again when the fan shut off, it didn't start right away and the tech even advise me not to start it that way ( I pushed the starter button about 5 seconds until the engine started) the tech kept starting it and when the engine seems like it was going to click over it does for a second and dies. I left the bike and the tech looked over it and said the cause of the starter problem is he says is the jardine pipe because it's not harley brand and he also says that he did everything and I am going to have to live with that starter problem. He also says he talked to the warranty people and I did too and the customer service says she doesn't have any record of talking to anyone on that dealership. What kind of tech are these and how did they pass to be certified to work on motorcycles. I need help or something to make me feel better. I really hate dealing with stupid people it really irritates me.

Wish I could help.
Don't know your area at all.
Hopefully someone here knows a good tech in your area.
Best of luck.
I hate to hear things like this.

Don't take no from a guy that can't give you a yes in the first place. Go above the tech, then above the next person if all else fails. He's way off base by blaming the jardine. Unbelievable.

LOL, thats the exact same deal my dealer tried to use on me. Dropped a valve because the muffler wasnt stock. And they said it with a dead serious look on their faces as I was laughing at them.
